Our properties are ideally suited to families and those travelling with children and infants. If you have need of a crib, highchair or other amenity, please reserve at the time of booking. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee these items will be available, if not pre-arranged.
Cottages: Our 4.5 acres of grounds are located on a quiet country road and cottages are well spaced for privacy. Numerous types of play equipment is set up and other toysand sports equipment is available at the office. Children must be accompanied and supervised when using the pool which offers swim games and toys. Firepits at each cottage ensure your family time is a special treat!
Motel: An ideal location to base your Cavendish experience. Walk to attractions such as Sandspit Amusement Park, Mini-Golf, Shining Waters Family Fun Park and to the Cavendish Boardwalk's dining and shopping area. Many guests feel Abby Lane Motel is the best location for families who want to be close to the action or have older children who want to explore on their own!
We are animal lovers and have a cat (Lilly), a dog (Norman) and a rabbit (Cocoa) - at the moment!
Cottages: We do allow some pets but reserve the right to limit pets, based on the number of pets we know will be on the property, at any given time. Confirmation of acceptance must be made for your pet, at the time of booking. Many pets, who are used to travelling and are well trained, are wonderful additions to a vacation. Sometimes though, a pet is not used to strange people/places and this can jeopardize the enjoyment of the guest. - and of other guests. A few points - pets must be leashed at all times, they cannot be left in a unit, unless kennelled and quiet, and cannot be inside the pool enclosure. Also for your information, pets are not allowed on any National Park Beach between May 15 and October 15th and only in other areas of the park on a leash.
Motel: Due to the nature of the property (adjoining units) and its proximity to Cavendish Rd, pets are not permitted at the motel.
